Premium Flake  Shavings

Our Premium pine shaving flake is multi screened to remove all dust and fines. We then separate the mini flake (Swift Pick) which leaves only the dust free pine flakes. We use our high densification equipment to pack 8.5 cubic feet in our ultra compressed 2.8 cubic foot bag. These bags are easy to handle and store well.

This clean, consistent fiber is great for show venues, equine clinic, hospital facilities or anywhere you want lots of volume.

Plastic bag

• Our bags are water resistant so they can be stored outside
• Each pallet is wrapped and capped with plastic to protect product from the weather.
• Our bags have carry gussets for easy handling. The more compact size of the finished bag also makes the bag easy to carry

Size of bags

• Our Ultra Compressed bag offers 8.5 cubic feet of shavings compressed into our compact 2.25 cubic foot bag. The high ratio densification capabilities of our bagging equipment allows us to ship more bags on a pallet / truck to reduce per bag shipping costs
• Premium Large Flake is screened to remove dust and screened to remove mini and medium flakes. This leaves the lofty, lightweight large flakes which can be compressed easily and remain easy to handle
• The days of big, heavy shavings bags are over! You can get good value in an ultra compressed bag with our state-of-the-art equipment

Remember: Fluffier shavings compress easier than sawdust. So, you get more product with fluffier pieces than you would with sawdust or fine particles. And remember, heavier bags only tell you that the shavings are smaller and/or the moisture content is much higher. Our kiln dried shaving products are 8% moisture content. The low moisture content is critical in providing high absorbency, even for a traditional flake.
