Pine Shaving

Our Premium pine shaving flake is multi screened to remove all dust and fines as well as any larger pieces not appropriate for the stall. Premium Flake is the perfect blend of some mini flake along with our soft, high volume medium flake. We monitor and control the moisture content so there is no worry about molds or contaminants. This provides large volumes of our beautiful light pine and absorbency for ammonia control. We use our high densification equipment to pack 8.5* cubic feet in our ultra compressed 2.5 cubic foot bag. These bags are easy to handle and store well. Just an incredible shaving.

Our ultra-compressed bag allows us to ship 1260 bags to a full truckload. This saves you money! With the high cost of shipping today, more bags per shipment = less cost per bag. If you can unload from a drive on dock, we can ship 1350 bags to the load.

• Premium Flake is screened to remove dust. This is the lowest dust pine shaving you have ever used! This screening process leaves only the ideal small and medium flake blend which can be compressed easily.

Size of bags

• Premium Large Flake is screened to remove dust and screened to remove mini and medium flakes. This leaves the lofty, lightweight large flakes which can be compressed easily and remain easy to handle

Remember: Fluffier shavings compress easier than sawdust. So, you get more product with fluffier pieces than you would with sawdust or fine particles. Heavier bags only tell you that the shavings are smaller and/or the moisture content is much higher. Our shaving products are monitored for moisture content consistency and are kept below 10%. The low moisture content is critical in providing high absorbency and to avoid potential mold growth.
